Aquenta Consulting has been appointed by the Department of Health to provide cost management services for the $65.6m Echuca Hospital Redevelopment Project in Victoria. Due for completion in December 2014, the project involves the re-development of the hospital, with the addition of an emergency department, medical ward, sub-acute ward, maternity / paediatric ward, surgical ward, medical imaging department and pharmacy.
The Aquenta team has been involved with the project since 2009, initially completing the master plan, feasibility and schematic design work. Peter Clack, Principal of the Victorian office of Aquenta commented “we’re delighted to be assigned as cost consultants for the final design and construction stages of the Echuca Hospital Project.
