The Project
We were appointed by Queensland Bulk Handling to provide estimates for the expansion of Coal Process and Storage Facilities at the Port of Brisbane in Queensland. As the third largest container port in Australia, The Port of Brisbane has 30 berths and approximately 7,500m of quay line.
QBH are responsible for the handling of coal, and its current coal storage capacity is 300,000 tonnes with a loading capacity of up to 3,000 tonnes per hour.
Our Involvement
Aquenta Consulting provided estimating services; working alongside engineers to achieve a workable in-loading and out-loading solution.
The Outcome
The project was completed on-time and within budget.
