Aquenta was engaged to prepare measured quantities and a cost plan for Lend Lease for the proposed Stage 2 works which include replacing the plenary building. The value of work in this stage is in the order of AUD 56M.
Measurement and cost planning.
Initially engaged to assist in the preparation of quantities for a guaranteed maximum price submission for the Stage 2 works, our role developed into the preparation of an independent cost plan for key construction trades. Information prepared by Aquenta was used in the negotiations between Lendlease and Department of Transport, Planning and Infrastructure to determine the most appropriate procurement method for delivering the Stage 2 works. Agreement was successfully reached and work is now proceeding under a Managing Contractor arrangement.
