Aquenta was engaged to provide cost planning services during schematic, developed and contract documentation design stages. During tender stage we reviewed submitted tender returns and managed negotiations with the successful integrated fitout Contractor. During construction stage we managed the financial status of the project, reviewing and recommending progress claims, reviewing variation claims and preparing cost reports.

Aquenta was able to negotiate a price with the fitout base build contractor that met AECOM’s budget expectations. The materials used in the fitout reflect AECOM’s commitment to sustainability in the workplace, with a focus on supporting a green office policy and sustainable materials throughout. The building itself was built to a green star design and subsequently achieved a 6 Star Green Star Rating Office as Built V2 in 2011.
