Canning Vale College – Year 7 Block

The Canning Vale College upgrade consisted of the construction of a new Year 7 block which included classrooms, a science laboratory and staff facilities as well as an upgrade to external services and car parking facilities.

Our involvement

Aquenta was engaged to undertake full cost management services. The team provided value to the client by proactively mitigating costs risks by closely working with both the design team and the contractor. Aquenta regularly met with the client and design team to provide timely advice which allowed for informed decision making during both design and construction stages.


Cost estimating, tender documentation – Bills of Quantities, tender analysis and recommendation, progress recommendations, assessment of variations and financial reports.

The outcome

The overall project outcome was successful. The project was delivered on time and within the original budget. Aquenta contributed to the projects success by providing timely and accurate cost information and advice to the client and project team.
