The outcome

As a result of our involvement in the project, strict financial controls were instilled into the project which helped to ensure that this high profile project was delivered on time and on budget. Throughout the preconstruction stage we were actively engaged in negotiating and agreeing appropriate costing levels with the management contractor leading up to the successful agreement of a guaranteed construction cost (GCS) with the Management Contractor. Following agreement of the GCS, we acted as the focal point for negotiating and agreeing the actual cost to construct the works with the Managing Contractor and ultimately agreeing the financial position for the construction component of the project.
