New Royal Adelaide Hospital

Construction of the new Royal Adelaide Hospital began in late 2011 via a PPP delivery model. The new, state-of-the-art 800-bed hospital will replace the existing Royal Adelaide Hospital built in 1840. Expected to open in 2016, the new facilities also include a new retail precinct, medical research centre, gymnasium and child care facilities.
