Aquenta was engaged to provide a range of pre- and post-contract services for this project. Pre-contract services included the provision of cost planning advice, cost plans at Development Application 60%, 90% and pre-tender and attendance at design team meetings, value and risk management workshops. Post-contract services included monthly cost reports, cash-flow and certification of progress claims, adjudication on variations, agreement of the final account and attendance at Project Control Group meetings.

The project commenced on site in January 2013 and was completed in April 2016, some 18 months late, but still under budget. Aquenta worked closely with the Department of Justice, the project manager and the design team from September 2011 to drive value in the design through value management workshops; ensuring the design met the project budget.
