Aquenta was engaged for cost management services from feasibility through to construction. This service included value management workshops at the early stages of the project, so as to ensure all the Clients required functions were being achieved at an optimal cost. We were instrumental to negotiating a Guaranteed Contract Sum within the Budget and managing this cost throughout construction.
Pre and post contract cost management; including 5no. cost plans, GGS agreement, variation valuations, payment valuations, trade package recommendations and final account agreement. Trade package measurements, subcontractor cost audits and value management.
The project reached practical completed in May 2013 and was delivered on time and within budget. Our advanced financial reporting systems ensured that the Client was kept up to date on final account forecasts, ensuring expenditure decisions were made on current and relevant information. This was instrumental to the successful delivery of the project.
